You can have a the best free online games added to your website easily and automatically. Games are a proven method of getting visitors to come back again and again. Best of all, you set it up once and the games will be updated automatically with no effort on your end ever again.
So how's it work? It's done through what's called a news feed, using RSS and XML. You'll need a script that parses the feed for display on your site, and many free scripts are already out there. Here are two, both free, and both from programmers I know and trust. If you already know what you're doing, skip the rest and Grab the Games That Don't Suck RSS feed.
The first script is good if you plan to have more than one feed on your site, or if you think you might want to add more RSS feeds in the future. The guy who made the script is Mark, and he's written some amazing scripts, not to mention helped me on numerous occasions with my own coding problems. The instructions are very easy to follow, and the script comes with an administration panel for easily adding or removing different feeds. It requires only PHP and MySQL to operate. Get Mark's RSS feed manager here.
If you don't have MySQL available to your website or blog, or you're just looking for a quick and easy cut and paste solution, this little snippet of code written by Jaysin should do the trick for adding our games feed to your site. Get Jaysin's RSS script here.
