Tower Defense

One of the most popular Warcraft 3 mini game spinoffs, Tower Defense pits you against an invading army following a defined path. Each level the army gets tougher, and you must upgrade your defenses to keep them from reaching your castle.
Utilize the corners, where you have a straight shot at the army for a long time, to maximize your damage. Green towers seem to work the best.

• Hey dudes. By the way, I played the hell out of this game back when it was first released (in one of those slumps when I didn't have time to update the site daily). The best I've gotten is level 81, and the best I've seen from screenshots is 82, without using a ripped version of the game.
  
  Four green towers lined up betweeen the road near the bottom there seem to be the key to longevity. Plus there is a small bug in the second to last green tower upgrade. It should be doing 3400 damage but it only does around 1200. This means you don't want to leave your green towers sitting at the 2nd from max upgrade, because the max tower does 9000. Concentrate on getting one tower from 3rd best to 1st best before working on the next one.

• I've had this happen before when you build on both edges of a corner, it seems to be some kind of strange bug. If you build a few pixels away from the path on each corner it seems to not happen. -harley

• never build a flower tower because it is a load of crap! its around twice as expensive as a nature tower while it attacks slower and marginally stronger and the upgrade is impossible to get -siliconrex

• i also found that you should get like 2 water towers and upgrade them twice in the beginning because nature towers are too weak to keep you alive until theyre near max. then build nature towers in the middle because at max they will have enough range to hit nearly everything. -siliconrex

• lol, i got to lvl 45 with one water (blue) tower,max out and placed in the middle of the game screen, the tower shoots the farthest maxed and it shot over the whole path...scored 74 with 10 towers, 9 green (7 of 9 maxed) and 1 blue (maxed). -iceman

• lol if you just press and hold the space bar you'll advance alot of lvl's instead of just one when your tower(s) are done killing the horde -iceman
• lol i got 106 by getting to lvl 63 then as lvl 64 came i held the space bar and after the last dude thing was killed it rocketed to lvl 106 and then i died... all my towers couldnt even change the color of one dude -iceman

• Man, all of the greens are screwy. It's not just the next to last one. It's all of them. There's only two good things about green towers:
  
  1. You get 9000 at the max upgrade.
  2. The initial strength of the tower isn't 3, like it's says, but it's 5 instead.
