Space Invaders

Space invaders is one of THE classic arcade games of the 80's, and no classic gaming section would be complete without it. Originally pioneered by Taito Corp., this game has plenty of clones and remakes.
Just avoid getting hit, it's not too difficult if your wrists don't sound like concrete when they move.

Space Invaders in review

They're back. Little animations vaguely resembling aliens, attacking your oddly shaped hand with a middle finger that shoots a death ray. This remake is almost identical to the original, with the only bug being in the high scores. For some reason the title Space Invaders covers the scores making them a bit hard to read. Other than that, an excellent game.

• Excellent game, the only suggestion to make it more authentic is to increase the speed of the invaders (in the arcade game the last invader was always much faster and more difficult to hit). -wort6

• Suggestion to the GTDS peopole: there should be a way to turn off the sound of games. That way, you could listen to music while playing a game and the beeps wouldn't drown it out. -suggestion guy
