Monster Master

Somewhat strategic, mostly luck driven card game with some interesting features. Attacks and defenses are rolled for each combat sequence, and certain creatures can be combined to form super creatures. This game also allows you to build a custom deck.

Aside from the extremely irritating fact that for whatever reason the computer rolls seem to dominate the players rolls an inordinate amount of the time, it's a fairly fun game. I don't know why it was programmed to give the computer this advantage, maybe the AI wasn't up to snuff so this was used to compensate. It would be nice if there was more strategy and less randomness to the game. The combination monsters are a cool touch.

Yeah the Computer Player of the game cheats a lot, this kind of strategy is often used by game programmers(creators)usually when they don't want to do lot of hard-work on the game like on its strategy etc., so they simply add advantages which could be compared to "cheating" if human player would be doing that. So I don't think the game uses randomness it is just made to manipulate its own cards and even human player cards to win most of the time. I played this game a lot so thats how I found out this, otherwise the concept of the game is too cool. The only reason it loses on popularity front is the reason explained above...But on the whole game can be tried surely unless you are short-tempered of course..:))
