Ballz

A fun puzzle game, the object of Ballz is simply to swap your various sports balls around to make lumps of 3 or more of the same ball touching each other. When this happens the balls disappear, giving you points and extra time on the game clock.
String enough ball combinations together and you'll get mad bonus points.

• 129,041 The key to points is getting medals and getting rid of them. use your 5 moves to make the hexagon. Also if you have 2 medals next to eachother, you can "walk" them around eachother and pick up balls to move them together. -Your Mom
• This game rocks I got to 86,654 on level three, then had to leave the cpu for a phone call. Your Mom's advice is the key into scoring high in this game. Remember that by pressing the arow button on the bottom right of the playing field will change the motion of the balls from clockwise to counter clockwise. -Kilark

• I have come to the conclusion that there are very few rules and that the game ends whenever it wnats because if you don't make a mistake the game can end much wuicker than if you make alot of mistakes, that's my view. I am slightly pi---d off with it NOW -The Man

• From what I can tell, if it is impossible for you to go on, i.e., if rotating any 3 balls on the board will not make a trio, then the game will end. You have no more "moves" left. It doesn't list these "moves" because it can't know what balls you are going to choose to clear. I understand why this had to happen, but it leaves alot up to luck(which balls will fall from the top after you clear something is random, I believe). I guess if you always leave one move at the bottom, you could avoid this. -notled
• Has anyone made it past lv 4...the football stage? I always run out of moves at this stage, and I've even tried to save a move at the end. Perhaps it is a bug. -notled
• Ok...I've found that there is a variant of this game called "Gems". The interface is a little clearer than Ballz, and the board is not obscured when you lose(so you can see if you actully have "no more moves"). It also offers better control, since the 8-balls are actually card suit icons in this version -- spades, clubs, diamonds, hearts -- and they change as you make sucessful moves; basically allowing you to choose when to activate them to get what you want(extra time, 5 free moves, free gem(exactly like the 'medal'), or Mad Collect)-(notice I didn't tell you what did what...you can figure it out on your own!). With this version, it seems like my assumption 2 comments ago was correct--you have to try to save a move, so you don't run out. The game is at the Cublo games website under "Puzzle" and the "Hexic mod". I'm not sure if it is linked here at GTDS. -notled

• 258k points, 6 mins of time and no more moves(I had plenty left). It is a fun and addicting game, but as long as the "no more moves" thingy isn't fixed or properly explained, don't start to play it. It's just frustrating. -Ben
