You're the pilot of a small craft defeating an entire army. Sound familiar? Yep, a flying side scroller, Alpha Force is actually quite fun though the bosses are very difficult to beat without both your smart bombs. Pick up powerups and dodge the bullets.

Alpha Force Game Comments

• Summary: A fun side scrolling shooter, with multiple weapons, several stages, and difficult bosses.
  Hints: Different colored powerups work better for different areas of the game. The flame cannon works great on bosses if you can get close, and spreadfire weapons usually work best for the rest.

• Beat it, took a couple tries. 11,180,400 was my final score. If you can avoid dying more than absolutely necessary and you kill most of the ships before they get shots off, it's not too difficult. The bosses all have firing patterns that are pretty easy to figure out and avoid, especially after you take out one of their guns.

• I will never play this game again. 6,540,800. I had to use a continue. The trick to the whole game is to never lose your weapon powerups (aka don't die). If you do that, you'll win. I had to start all over because the third level boss killed me 3 times.
